This page exists to satisfy app-store, payment-processor, and registration requirements during development. The language below has not been reviewed by an attorney and must not be relied on as final.
Overview
Backbone CRM (the "Service") is operated by Vibly Tech LLC ("Backbone," "we," "us"). This page outlines our intended privacy practices so the Service can be reviewed by app-store and payment-processor partners. The final language is pending review by counsel and is not yet binding.
What we collect
Backbone collects the data needed to operate a field-service business management product. The categories below are illustrative of the eventual policy:
- Account information — name, email, business name, business address, phone number for the account holder and any teammates.
- Customer records — names, contact information, addresses, and job history that the contractor enters about their own customers.
- Job content — estimates, invoices, photos, signed documents, voice notes, and other content created by users of the Service.
- Payment information — handled exclusively by our payment processor (Stripe). Card numbers are never transmitted to or stored by Backbone.
- Device and usage information — device type, OS version, app version, crash reports, and basic interaction analytics used to improve reliability.
- Location data — when a user opts into GPS clock-in / clock-out, current and historical truck location during configured working hours.
How we use it
- Operate the Service (sync data, send notifications, generate invoices).
- Comply with legal obligations (tax reporting, payment regulations, A2P messaging registration).
- Improve reliability and prevent fraud.
- Communicate with users about their account.
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
